Fully Funded PhD Scholarship in Mechanical Engineering at Swansea University in the UK

Opportunity Description:
Swansea University offers a unique opportunity to obtain a fully funded PhD scholarship in mechanical engineering, which will be awarded within the framework of the research project conducted by the university in cooperation with the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA). The student will work primarily in a Biomedical Engineering Simulation and Testing Laboratory (BEST) within a research group (>15 researchers) in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. The student will be exposed to a range of research topics, and training opportunities to expand and enhance his learning and development opportunities within the field of experimental and computational mechanics.

An annual salary of £17,668.

Submission criteria:
You must follow the following criteria:
Candidates must normally hold a 2.1 level undergraduate degree (or equivalent from outside the UK) in Engineering or a closely related science discipline.
English language proficiency: IELTS 6.5 overall (with no individual component under 5.5) or Swansea equivalent.
The study program is held on a full-time basis.
Project start date: July 1, 2023 (registration open from mid-June).
Due to funding restrictions, this scholarship is open to eligible applicants paying tuition fees at the UK rate only.
